Soulful Steps Healing

This component focuses on the specific needs of young women aged 16-25, providing early intervention and prevention strategies to address intergenerational trauma, promote identity development, and foster healthy relationships. By empowering young women, Oyster Tribe aims to break cycles of disadvantage and support the next generation of leaders.

Target Audience:  Young Aboriginal girls and women aged 10 to 17 and their families.

Delivery: 
A combination of group sessions, one-on-one mentoring, family therapy, cultural camps, and community excursions.

Unique Features: 
Focuses on early intervention and prevention, addressing intergenerational trauma and promoting positive development across six domains: culture, emotional intelligence, health, relationships, responsibility, and spirit.
