Weaving Our Way to Wellbeing (WOWW)
Monthly workshops and one-on-one mentorship provide opportunities for women to deepen their connection to culture, address trauma through traditional healing practices, and develop essential life skills. This program fosters self-awareness, strengthens cultural identity, and promotes emotional well-being.
Target Audience: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women of all ages face challenges such as mental health issues, trauma, domestic violence, and homelessness.
Delivery: Monthly workshops held in 12 Aboriginal communities across Western, Central West, and Far West NSW.
Unique Features: Combines cultural healing practices, kinship building, and life skills development to foster self-determination and wellbeing.
